Why Choose Techno ?
There
are now dozens of security related conferences to choose from,
and new ones are being added every year. Why should you choose
to invest your time and money in our conference? There are
answers to that question in a number of places throughout
our website. We felt that it would be a good idea to give
you one place to go for all of the answers that we have provided
verbally and in writing over the years.
Our
conference is unique in that it is entirely owned, developed
and operated by a small team of senior security managers who
have each been in the fields of information security and physical
security for decades. Our two senior members have each started
High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) chapters
and served for several terms each as their respective chapter
presidents. Each of them have also helped start InfraGard
chapters on the east coast, and were the founding presidents
of those chapters.
Our
conferences are well known for the excellent networking that
takes place between attending members of law enforcement and
industry. We do our best each year to provide the most up
to date training available at any conference. People come
to our conferences to learn. Even our after-hours optional
evening classes are filled right up until 10PM on the nights
that we offer late evening training. That wouldn't happen
if the training weren't consistently high quality and worth
staying up for.
And
finally, we encourage you to take a close look at any conference
that you plan to invest in. There are many good ones out there,
and we certainly try to be one of those. Attend just one of
our conferences and we'll show you what we mean.

How
Can You Keep In Touch ?
By
frequently visiting our website at www.TheTrainingCo.com.
We will keep the latest conference information on-line. You
can also subscribe to our email list server where we will
be publishing our monthly Techno Briefs.

What
is "Quality Exhibitor Time" ?
Having
been exhibitors and sponsors at other conferences, we realize
the value of what we call Quality Exhibitor Time
when you make the decision to invest in a conference or exposition.
We dont like dead time when we are in our booth, and
we dont think that you like it either. Our pledge to
you is to make sure that we do everything possible to get
all of our conference attendees in front of you for some high
quality conversation regarding your products or services.
We have some very innovative ways of doing that, and this
will be fun for everyone. As one or our exhibitors or sponsors,
you are very important to us, and we realize that if you are
not happy with the way that we run our conferences, you wont
come back. Our goal is to remain at the top of your list as
you plan your conference exhibit schedule each year.

What
is the focus of the conference ?
Our
conferences are unique in that they provide detailed training
in what we believe will be the most critical issues facing
corporations as we begin the Third Millennium. Having these
issues addressed in a single conference will allow corporations
to send a team of their managers and specialists to learn
together in this specialized training environment. Here are
the areas of headline making topics that our conferences will
focus on:
- Attack Penetration & Mitigation
- Computer & Network
- Security Countermeasures
- Computer, Enterprise Forensics
- Cyber Crime Threats Prevention
- Vulnerabilities & Countermeasures
- Intrusion Prevention & Detection
- Wireless Security Workshops
- Incident Response Handling
- Data Hiding & Steganography
- Password Recovery &
Wiping tools
- Public/Private Partnerships

Business Continuity

Where
will the conferences be held ?
Our conferences are held at the Marriott Grande Dunes in Myrtle
Beach, South Carolina. We chose this location for several
reasons. In addition to being easily accessible from
anywhere in the country, it is a fun place to be, and
great place to hold a conference. The overall conference
atmosphere for the exhibitors and the attendees is very
important, and our senior conference staff has already
produced ten very successful international conferences
at hotels in Myrtle Beach. Attendees and exhibitors
alike have rated Techno Security as one of their most memorable educational events. |

Who
are our speakers ?
Being
pioneers in the computer security and disaster recovery world
gives us access to some of the best speakers on the planet
to present these subjects. Many of the most sought after speakers
in the country are personal friends of our conference staff.
They are already planning some cutting edge topics to present
as a part of our Third Millennium Business Survival Training.
Our conference sponsors will also be given the opportunity
to present on their areas of expertise throughout the three
days of the conference. We will be constantly adding to our
list of possible speakers, so this could be another way for
you to spend some quality time in front of our attendees.
Who
will attend the conference ?
Our conferences will be limited to about 1,500 attendees. It has been our experience that this is a very manageable number of people for training, quality exhibitor time, and individual networking opportunities. These will be predominately decision makers who will be attending to learn about solutions that will help their companies’ to maintain a cutting edge as we face an ever growing list of new techno-risks, threats, vulnerabilities and countermeasures. As one of our special sponsors or exhibitors, your companies’ latest products or services may be the exact solution that our attendees came to find.

Who
should attend the conference ?
This
conference had the highest percentage of senior level decision
makers in attendance of any conference that we are aware of.
It is our intent to keep it that way for all future Techno Security conferences produced by TheTrainingCo. The following list
of titles was taken from a few simple query's of certain key
words found in the job titles of those who registered. There
were many other senior level titles in attendance as well,
including President, Vice President, CIO, CEO and owner of
many medium to very large size corporations. We look forward
to seeing you at our next conference.

Why
should you choose to exhibit at our conferences ?
Only
time will provide you with the answer to that question. Having
been exhibitors, sponsors and attendees at many conferences
over the years, we have found that there were some things
that we really liked, and others that we absolutely didnt.
From these lessons learned, we have tried to eliminate all
of the undesirable issues and build in new and exciting features
for you and our attendees. We will make every attempt to respond
to any request from our exhibitors as we continue to strive
to be the most valuable conference for you each year. Some
of our best suggestions for making our conferences unforgettable
have come from our exhibitors. Among other benefits, you will
be able to enjoy your meals with us as well as attend the
conference sessions as a fully registered attendee at no extra
cost.
To get a feel for the excitement at Techno Security, and to see what other
exhibitors and attendees are saying about our conference, please take a few
minutes and watch our new video which was produced at our recent conference.
